Pure Romance Products & Online Market Places

It has been a challenge for several years to eliminate Pure Romance products from being sold on online market places like eBay, Amazon, Craig’s List, etc. The latest to be put in spotlight is Walmart and sadly we’re expecting that more will come as it becomes easier and more common for individual sellers to move product in these spaces.

As a reminder, the Pure Romance Consultant agreement states: “Contractor will not, directly or indirectly through a third-party reseller or otherwise, sell, market, or promote merchandise sold by the Company on any website not specifically authorized by the policies on the Online Office.”

With large online market places, we have come to find that in order to attempt to eliminate these unauthorized sellers, Pure Romance must assume the role of THE authorized seller. That has been and will continue to be, a means for us to protect the way in which products have been traditionally sold here at Pure Romance. Therefore, Consultants will see that Pure Romance has a presence on a number of these sites and should understand it is not for the purposes of undercutting or competing. It allows us to shut others down in many cases, but as you can imagine that is an ongoing and continual process.

While there are numerous ways in which Pure Romance could reach customers with products, as an organization, we continue to stay true to our core mission of helping customers through qualified Consultants. The services and support provided by trained Consultants is what sets our shopping experience apart.

Consultants can work alongside of us by educating new Consultants about the rules of selling, providing exceptional service and accurate information to customers, and building strong and lasting relationships. We have found that those who do this well find no impact of products being available from others – loyal customers will always come back to great Consultants.
